Following the recent FlexoTech 2016 Awards, we would like to say a huge congratulations to our award winning customers, DS Smith Burscough and DS Smith Packaging Belper.
The FlexoTech Awards, held recently at the Hilton Metropole in London, is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the Flexographic print industry.
DS Smith Burscough won the Corrugated Post-Print (E and F Flute) Award for their Whyte & Mackay Jura Single Malt Scotch Whisky Sweet or Smoky Pack. Judges said: “The quality of the illustrations and the depth of colour achieved in the solid areas enabled an eye-catching design to be produced. Registration was uniform throughout this large sheet”. The winner of the Sacks and Corrugated Pre-Print Liner Award was DS Smith Packaging Belper for their Classic Ales – Christmas Collection Multi Pack. Judges commented: “This funky design incorporating product shots was printed to a very high standard.
