CellScope and CellStore

Helping You Take Control of Your Anilox Rollers

Our CellScope™ and CellStore™ anilox inspection systems provide the perfect toolkit for diagnosing the condition and underperforming anilox rollers.

Using these tools to regularly inspect and monitor the condition of your anilox rollers, will enable you to identify possible root causes of print quality issues and prevent print deterioration that will results in print rejects and production downtime.

CellScope™

Our CellScope™ Microscope provides a fast and accurate method of inspecting your anilox rollers on-site.

Providing an early warning system for anilox roller damage, CellScope™ enables you to accurately measure cell depth, screen count, cell wear and cell contamination.

When you purchase the CellScope™ it comes complete with an iPhone and microscope adaptor so you can take photos of anilox roller condition and send them electronically directly to your colleague or supplier for further analysis or recording.

CellScope™ is robust and easy to use:–

• Accurately measures screen count and cell depth.
• Checks for surface damage.
• Identifies worn or dirty cells.
• Upto 800x magnification.
• Has magnetic base that allows cylinders to be inspected at 90° so there is no need to remove them from the press.
• X20 and X10 Eyepiece Graticule for direct visual cell checks
• X40 Objective Lens
• Kit supplied with iPhone and microscope adaptor to enable digital zoom and capture images.
• Durable Carry Case
• Findings and images provide information for your in-house quality records.

CellStore™

Our CellStore™ System utilises sophisticated microscope technology and digital imaging to monitor the condition of Anilox rollers throughout their lifespan.

Driven by its own software package, CellStore™ captures and stores images within the device, enabling you to calculate screen counts, depth and volume; measure and record full cell geometry; and record, track and compare Anilox cell condition.

This system provides hi-resolution full colour images at magnifications ranging from 450X to 1800X. Coarse and fine focus combined with an X-axis stage allows cell features to be located quickly and easily, ready for measurement.

1 micron resolution measurement in X, Y, Z axis provided by the CellStore™ measurement suite can ensure the highest level of accuracy for surface and depth measurement. The CellStore™ also has non-slip magnetic feet to provide stability, leaving the operator free to control both microscope and software simultaneously.

CellStore™ is robust and easy to use:–

• Accurately measures screen count and cell depth.
• Checks for surface damage.
• Identifies worn or dirty cells.
• X-Axis adjustment – course and fine focus.
• Upto 1800x magnification.
• Has magnetic base that allows cylinders to be inspected at 90° so there is no need to remove them from the press.
• LED Illumination
• 20X Eyepiece
• 5X, 10X, 20X & 40X Lenses
• High Resolution Depth Gauge
• Full Colour Digital Camera
• Kit supplied with 14” HP Laptop Pro Book 440, Windows 7 Pro, Microsoft Office 2010.

Corrugated Flexographic Print

Unlike other flexographic print processes, due to the size of the anilox rollers in corrugated board printing, removing them to undertake cleaning or an anilox audit is not a feasible option. For this reason, we offer our onsite anilox assessment and scheduled audits of your anilox rollers, on press to suit your production rotation schedule.

Using CellStore™ our trained and experienced engineers will review the condition of your anilox rollers and provide a full diagnostic of their condition. Any issues that will result in deterioration of print will be discussed and reported to you, with the appropriate action recommended to resolve any issues.
